Nimona 2023

The main character, a shapeshifter, appears to be a rebellious youngster who enjoys causing mayhem and disruption. She unintentionally crosses paths with Ballister Blackheart, a knight who has been honoured as a national hero by the Queen. Blackheart gained popularity by becoming the first commoner to hold a high-ranking knight title and for defending his boyfriend and fellow knight, Ambrosius Goldenloin. Everything seems to be going in Blackheart’s favour up until the Queen is murdered in front of a throng at his ceremony and is wrongly accused of committing the crime. Now on the run, Blackheart needs Nimona’s tenacity to help him defend his reputation. Nimona will do whatever to help Blackheart.
