Candy Cane Lane 2023

Chris Carver is a resident of the lane who recently lost his job at an industrial plastics company. Meanwhile, his wife Carol is being considered for a promotion at her own job. Their household is also facing some challenges, as their eldest daughter Joy is reluctant to attend USC and their son Nick is struggling with math. However, Nick shows promise in his tuba playing. When a $100,000 prize is announced for this year’s decorating contest, Chris sees it as a solution to their financial difficulties. Despite his youngest daughter Holly’s belief that the effort he put into hand carving all the decorations should be enough to win the contest, Chris remains unconvinced and disillusioned.
