Poor Things 2023

After a difficult upbringing that left him severely injured, Dr. Godwin is a well-known surgeon who is fascinated by the human body. He invites Max, his most attentive and inquisitive pupil, to his house, where he introduces the young man to Bella, Dr. Godwin’s creation. By implanting a baby’s brain inside a suicide victim, the “father” has given her a second chance at life. However, Max has the responsibility of keeping an eye on Bella as she navigates her limited surroundings because she is still so young and inquisitive. The pair immediately hits it off and makes arrangements to tie the knot, but dishonest lawyer Duncan has other ideas and sends Bella on a global tour. Bella continues to develop as she travels, seeing new sights and people, sating her ravenous appetite with a willing partner, and picking up new knowledge about sex, pain, and female sovereignty.
