Pet Sematary: Bloodlines 2023

The main character of “Bloodlines” is Jud, a restless kid who wants to leave Ludlow. Thanks to his love Norma, who persuaded him to join her for a stint in the Peace Corps in distant Michigan, he is ready to do that as the story opens. However, after Norma is badly mauled by Timmy’s dog, a boyhood buddy of Jud’s, their departure is accelerated. Jud sits next to Norma’s hospital bed and thinks to himself, “He just stood there,” as he is concerned about his friend’s response to the assault.
