Bob Marley: One Love 2024

With particular reference to 1976–1978: Marley, who is already a powerful political figure in Jamaica, is organizing a concert for harmony in an attempt to put an end to the violence between the rival political figures. Marley’s large family, his suspicious manager Don Taylor, his obedient wife Rita, and a few Wailers members who act as his backing group are all introduced to us right away. The musician had several children from his marriage and extramarital affairs, as the movie makes evident. We get the impression that Marley’s life is in constant danger because his residence is situated in a compound surrounded by tall walls and guys brandishing machine guns.
