Stunt performer Colt Seavers vanishes after a poorly executed trick breaks his back. One and a half years later, he makes a comeback as director of Metal Storm, the first feature film starring Jody Moreno, his ex-girlfriend. It has complicated his life, of course, since Tom Ryder, the actor for whom he worked for years as a stunt double, has inexplicably disappeared and that Jody doesn’t know he was the stuntman on her movie.
