Heretic 2024

The film Heretic has the feel of a theological Barbarian. The term “barbarian” has long been a convenient way to describe someone who is not a Christian, thus it is appropriate. Its antagonist’s will to test is what makes it so terrifying. Reclassifying religion as merely another aspect of society, the faith is likely derivative and ultimately cliched. Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, or Mormons, are the two girls who were chosen for this test. Sister Barnes and Sister Paxton, to use their common nickname.
