Challengers 2024

The story is a time-shifting drama about a love triangle involving professional tennis players. One of the players, a top seed, is so driven to win Wimbledon that he will run over his grandmother if she gets in the way of the stadium. In the movie, Zendaya plays a gifted tennis player named Tashi, whose career is cut short by an accident and forces her to pursue a career in management. Tashi is modeled after one of the Williams sisters. Art’s noteworthy achievements in men’s tennis can be attributed in large part to Tashi’s encouragement and commitment.
