Breaking 2022

The drama story, Breaking is based on the true account of Lance Cpl. Brian Brown-Easley, who in 2017 broke into a Wells Fargo branch in Georgia and held hostages while demanding the disability benefits he was entitled to as a veteran of the United States. There are moments of danger and violence using weapons (by the authorities), as well as the disturbing implication that Brian could cause a bomb to go off. At the end of the film, there is a brief portrait (but no footage) of the real-life Brian and his daughter in addition to strong mentions of Wells Fargo and Newport cigarettes.
