The Little Mermaid 2023

Ariel is a mermaid princess who wishes to live in a new world. She avoids King Triton and wishes to make pals on land. A prince named Eric is travelling the ocean to help his home island’s economy by visiting new destinations and seeing the sights. After his ship is damaged during a strong storm, Ariel is left to rescue Eric, who has only the recollection of a song. Ariel is duped by her brother, the sea witch Ursula, into giving up her voice in exchange for a human body when she sees an opportunity to seize control of King Triton’s ocean kingdom. Ursula gives her three days to receive a sincere love kiss to complete the transition. With the help of her sea creature friends, Flounder, Scuttle, and Sebastian—the latter of whom has been assigned by King Triton with keeping an eye on his troublesome daughter—Ariel, who was forced into Eric’s community as a mute, tries to win the prince’s affection.
