In Connecticut on Christmas Eve, Jason is trying to make amends with his estranged wife Linda and spend time with his daughter Trudy. Jason’s mother, the powerful businesswoman Gertrude, is being visited by them. She is barely taking part in the Christmas celebrations, which also include her depressed daughter Alva and her family. Scrooge enters the party, leading a crew of mercenaries and insiders, and quickly seizes control of the home in an effort to get a treasure buried in a subterranean vault. As the atmosphere inside becomes more tense, Santa Claus is making his rounds outdoors and getting drawn into the conflict as those on his “naughty list” attempt to murder the Christmas hero without realising the magic man is well-equipped to fight back.
