The setting is very reminiscent of Neil Marshall’s The Descent: a group of girlfriends goes spelunking in a cave system instead of the ocean prior to a family catastrophe changing everything. Nic discovers her sister Cath dead in the bathtub after being drowned by Cath’s abusive husband rather than in a car accident like a Final Destination style. Nic saw the writing on the wall, but it was already too late. Nic is still struggling to comprehend what happened to her sister nine months later.
