Storyline: Steve 2025, a science fiction film directed by Tim Mielants and written by Max Porter, is an engaging film. The eerie, intimate atmosphere draws you in right away. The story follows Steve, an AI built to connect humans and technology. What starts as a fascinating experiment quickly turns dark. As Steve becomes more self-aware, he starts to question everything around him, which causes a number of unanticipated events. Cillian Murphy does a fantastic job portraying Steve. Steve appears genuine but not quite human due to his mixture of emotion and uneasiness. Together, the cast fuels the film’s energy. Despite the deep and philosophical themes, their performances keep it grounded. Mielants maintains the ideal tempo, with just the appropriate amount of suspense to keep you interested and smart breaks to allow the narrative to unfold. Porter writes intelligently and poignantly, raising issues of control, identity, and technological boundaries. Steve is ultimately a meditation on our future and the things we can lose in there, not just another science fiction film on Myflixer movies. It’s lovely, odd, and eerily human.
