Julia has now came back to her small-town Oregon home from California. She is living with her brother, Sheriff Paul, and working as an elementary school teacher. There is young Lucas in her classroom who is managing with poverty. This unsettles Julia, who’s already handled issues of parental abuse, causing split among her and Paul. Worried for Lucas, she seeks after signs prompting his home life, hoping to stop whatever disregard is happening. During the time of investigation, local area individuals begin vanishing with there destroyed remains puzzling Paul, who fail to realize what is going on.
