Mufasa: The Lion King 2024

The focal point of “Mufasa: The Lion King” is the bond between the two large cats. After being close at first, they don’t give it the attention it needs. The result is that emotional turning moments don’t have as much impact as they might. Rafiki’s story is occasionally interrupted by flashbacks featuring Timon the meerkat and Pumbaa the warthog, but these brief comedic interludes don’t add much.
