Kinda Pregnant 2025: Lainy lives in New York and teaches in public school English in Brooklyn. When Kate tells Lainy about her pregnancy, Lainy is unhappy that her best friend can live the life she has always dreamed of. She separates herself from Kate because she is unable to admit how deeply she is jealous. The middle school teacher begins wearing a fake baby belly and joins a prenatal class where she becomes friend with Megan, a soon-to-be mother. In an attempt to increase the emotional stakes, the lie takes ridiculous turns, and Lainy eventually finds herself in love with Megan’s brother Josh. Overall the film was very enjoyable.
