Carrie Coon, Natasha Lyonne, and Elizabeth Olsen are three estranged sisters in the well-known family drama of His Three Daughters. To decide how to handle their father’s approaching death, they gather together. The movie provides a very moving and occasionally darkly funny look at the difficulties of sisterhood. The oldest sibling, Katie, is portrayed by Coon as being the most overwhelmed by the circumstances. The middle sister, Rachel, is portrayed by Lyonne and frequently takes the brunt of Katie’s annoyances.
