Good Grief 2024

Marc is married to Oliver, a YA author who is well-known for providing a luxury lifestyle to his wife, who doubles as his artist. At a holiday party in New York City, Marc is having fun with his friends Thomas and Sophie. The two are happy and in love, and their warmth is palpable. Oliver is killed in a car accident while en route to a special book signing event. Marc is in disbelief and has no idea what to do with his newfound independence. Marc plans to confront his grief by opening a Christmas card Oliver left for him a year later. Rather than send Marc some holiday cheer, Oliver informs him that he’s met another man in Paris and would like to keep in touch. Startled by the revelation and leaving with a financial meltdown, Marc travels to France with Thomas and Sophie to try and make sense of it all, living in an apartment that Oliver had been secretly renting.
