A U.S. Army Corps of Engineers member named Lynsey suffered from a terrible head injury while serving in Afghanistan and was unable to take care of herself when she returned home. Lynsey is prepared to move back into her old life and live with her mother Gloria, who is unsure of what to do with her daughter after she has finished months of rehabilitation. A proprietor of an auto shop, James, responds to Lynsey’s challenges by pledging to assist the woman as she handles her memory and motor abilities when she runs into car trouble. The two eventually become closer as they share more of the feelings from their painful pasts. Lynsey needs to get back in shape as she is coping with serious psychological and physical issues.
