House of the Dragon S02 E07

Following up on the events of the last episode, Rhaenyra came upon Addam of Hull and Seasmoke. Addam said he didn’t understand why a dragon would come to him because he thought he had nothing to do with the previous incidents. Nevertheless, he bent the knee to assure Rhaenyra of his allegiance, which pleased her. Both the concerns about Addam’s innocence and the acceptance of their arrangement by others maintained. One major barrier was Jacaerys’s fears, and Addam had trouble reconciling his commoner upbringing with the esteemed Targaryen family past. They were unable to understand the bigger picture. Maybe Rhaenyra had been eyeing the wrong people to be dragonriders, and because Targaryen bastards were so plentiful, she had mistaken them for prospective dragonriders.
