Young Fontaine is fighting to survive in his village after losing his mother and sibling. He deals with drug dealers and makes some extra money while attempting to keep the peace. Someone exacts retaliation against Pimp Slick Charles after he fails to repay a loan. Fontaine is shot and killed while driving as he tries to leave a motel parking lot. The following day, he continues about his usual until Slick Charles seems obviously shocked to see him, at which point he suspects something is awry. Yo-Yo, a prostitute, joins the group as they travel to a trap house with access to a hidden laboratory. When they investigate, the three find something odd: Fontaine’s dead body, an enigmatic white powder, and a white lab worker going about his business. Fontaine, Slick Charles, and Yo-Yo decide to look into the matter after they learn that something is occurring to the Black community but that no one in the region is aware of it.
