Carol Danvers, a returning avenger, is investigating a rise in the universe’s leap points system when her powers become linked with Monica Rambeau, her niece, and Jersey City teen/Captain Marvel superfan Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel in The Marvels. When Carol attempts to meet Kree revolutionary Dar-Benn, the power entanglement forces Carol, Monica, and Kamala to switch places when they use their abilities.
