The Alto Knights 2025: The film starts in 1959 with a shoddy scene in the lobby of Frank’s apartment building in New York. Levinson plays the part of a seasoned actor. I’m encouraged to see a director of his age becoming an expert in his field after the startlingly bad performance of Francis Ford Coppola’s “Megalopolis.” Since Frank is still alive and seeking retribution, the remaining scenes are set in a far-off future. Frank respects the code and doesn’t tell the police, even though he knows the shooter is one of Vito’s henchmen. Even if the bullet miraculously lands on his scalp and wraps around his head.
