The story is set in 1974 which follows Ted Bundy living in Utah, utilizing his time to plan a series of murders, attracted to the honesty and trust of young ladies who sense nothing off about the stranger. Inside, Bundy is a lunatic, losing a fight with craziness as his casualty count develops. Kathleen McChesney is a sex crimes cop in Seattle trying to sell the urgency of missing young ladies in town, finding her direction to the wrath of Bundy.
