Rose is a widow managing a dusty little restaurant in Montana. Her son, Pete is interested in medicines and also fond of flowers. On a night, some rowdy cowboys come in for dinner. Ranch owners, Phil and George Burbank are brothers and their bosses. George is a mild-mannered person who wears a white hat. Phil is a mean guy with a sharp edge. He eggs on the cowhands as they abuse Pete. Pete gets nervous and his mother goes into tears. George checks in on them and one matter leads to another.
