Shazam! Fury of the Gods 2023

As Billy approaches his 18th birthday and prepares to age out of the foster care programme he’s grown to love, life becomes more complicated for him and his superpowered alter ego, Shazam. In the hopes of keeping the gang together as they work to protect Philadelphia from threats, he’s joined by his heroic family, which includes Freddy, Eugene, Darla, Mary, and Pedro, but teamwork is starting to fade as future plans are made. Billy’s anxiety is relieved when Hespera and Kalypso, two daughters of Atlas, arrive in search of the Staff of the Gods, which will grant them power over humanity. While Freddy is distracted by Anthea, a new student at school who is intrigued by the boy’s kindness and access to superheroes, Shazam marches into battle and quickly realises he is unable to keep the situation under control.
