Ahsoka S01 E03

Ahsoka, Sabine Wren, and Huyang, a Jedi architect droid, continue their search for Morgan Elsbeth in the third book in the Ahsoka trilogy. Morgan has created a hyperspace ring that can take a user to a distant galaxy where Grand Admiral Thrawn is supposed to be. While in hyperspace, Huyang teaches Sabine Wren the fundamentals of using a lightsaber. Ahsoka intervenes when it becomes apparent that Sabine’s training isn’t going as expected. The fictional blind fighter from the Edo era created by Japanese novelist Kan Shimozawa, who also served as the inspiration for Chirrut Îmwe in Rogue One, may be alluded to in Zatoichi, a training method that the teacher and student practice against Huyang’s wishes.
