Rumble Through the Dark 2023

While Jack was formerly a formidable bareknuckle fighter known as The Butcher, those days are long gone. He’s been battered into submission way too many times, and now he’s dealing with neurological issues that make him forget things easily and occasionally even lose consciousness. In addition to helping his mother Maryann, who is in a nursing facility due to dementia, he is committed to keep his boyhood home from going into foreclosure. Jack faces financial collapse after he loses his bundle of cash during a robbery and has to acknowledge that he owes Big Momma Sweet money, which she demands be paid back. When traveling carnival dancer Annette discovers the money, she makes the decision to find the owner. She goes to see Jack, who is having trouble remembering things, reflecting on his early years and facing the brutal reality of his circumstances.
