The satire “Quasi” portrays the story of a man caught up in the 13th-century machinations between the French King and the Pope. Each actor plays both a little and major role, in line with the spirit of the prank that the entire film team is playing. We can’t figure out what makes the film so entertaining. We’ve seen similar stories on TV and heard the jokes before. However, we believe that the actors’ conviction and a script kept the story moving by not attempting to be something it was clearly not.
