Orion and the Dark 2024

In 1995, Orion was a fifth grader who struggles to deal with everyday challenges without going insane and lives in a bubble of terror. He wants to sit next to Sally on the upcoming school trip to the planetarium since he has a crush on her. In addition, he deals with bullies and made-up threats. Orion stays at home for the weekend because he is afraid of this relationship and hopes his parents would understand his boundaries. Caught in the dead of night, Orion soon comes across The Dark, who isn’t happy about being perceived as the antagonist and wants to take the young person on his nightly rounds to show him what he’s really all about. Part of this involves meeting the Night Entities; these sleep warriors fear a human lad could disrupt their work, so Dark has to keep a close eye on the young man while he investigates his new environment.
