“In a Violent Nature” is situated in a lonely woodland, and seven young people have come to camp there. In the wilderness, they are staying in a log cabin. Ehren mentions that this camping area is well-known for a mass killing that happened years ago, called the White Pines Slaughter, in the first scene of the movie, when the necklace is seized. Ehren is surprised that none else in the group knows about this massacre. He says he believes the publicity surrounding this massacre was the main factor.
