A middle-aged man named Beau is unhappy with his life. He attempts to reconcile tragedies with his personal issues while living in a difficult neighbourhood. He tries to control his frantic feelings with therapy and medication but finds both to be unreliable. While coping with the mayhem around him, Beau tries to visit his mother, Mona, for a family reunion but is unable to leave his flat. Beau has to go back to his mother’s house to make arrangements for the funeral after learning of her unexpected passing.
