Companion 2025: Sophie Thatcher did a fantastic job as a robot Iris in this movie. Iris fell in love with Josh. She is confident that, all she has done in her life is prepare her for the day she meets Josh. But things are never the same as they appear. The same is happening in the case of Iris and Josh’s relationship. In the sobering light of day, things begin to change after a wonderful evening of dining, drinking, and dancing. Iris walks down to swim at the lake but Sergey interrupts her peaceful time. She uses a mystery switchblade she finds in her pocket to kill him after he thrusts himself on her. The film explores humanity’s relationship with technology interestingly through its emotional scenes and smart social observations.
