American Primeval Season 1

American Primeval Season 1: This violent western series, directed by Peter Berg, entered Utah in 1857. In it, culture, religion, and community combine violently. The series explores control and hope and how violence may increase when these two are in alternation. Jacob Pratt and Abish are two different witnesses to the same incident: a Mormon couple separated after a raid group attacked their caravan. The Army is attempting to control the Mormons. To escape a destroyed life on the East Coast, a bounty on her head, and a stowaway in her wagon, Sara Rowell and her disabled son Devin are traveling west.
