Coraline 2024

Coraline is a little child who moved to the Pink Palace Apartments, which are located in a chilly and deserted portion of the Northwest, with her parents lately from Pontiac, Michigan. She looks about the dilapidated house, feeling annoyed and bored in her new surroundings. She feels abandoned as her parents have returned to their workaholic ways. As she explores, she comes to a tiny door that is hidden by wallpaper. When she persuades her mother to open it, she finds herself facing a sturdy brick wall. Disappointed, Coraline imagines that her ideal world is right behind the wall that night. She encounters other people who are her parents in this imagined world, and they are not just more loving and happy but also very willing to interact with her.
